Our client’s former business partner interpreted their termination agreement in a way which would irreparably harm our client’s business. Although the former partner had not yet implemented his interpretation, our client was very concerned.   The business involved rights to a well-known lecture series.  A competing lecture series would have seriously cut into our client’s market and profitability. We persuaded the Superior Court of Justice to grant an interlocutory injunction restraining the former partner from competing until the conclusion of the case.
